How it's done
How we prepare and apply Lanoguard.
The coating is only as good as the surface it goes on. Most of the work happens before any Lanoguard comes out of the tin.

01
Assessment
We look over the underside with you, note its condition, and photograph it. If we find holes or structural rust, we show you before any work starts.

02
Preparation
The underside, arches and chassis rails are pressure washed on our ramp to remove mud, grit and road film. The vehicle then goes up on the lift, where loose rust and flaking scale are lightly removed. Brake discs and pads are covered, as they're the only parts that must stay free of coating. Arch liners and plastic underfloor panels stay on, and the metal around them is treated.

Drying where required
After washing, seams, joints and box-section openings are blown dry with compressed air in the workshop, so the underside can be inspected and coated properly. Lanoguard must not be sprayed onto a dripping-wet underside.

Application
First, warmed Lanoguard Moto Grease is brushed onto weld seams, nuts, bolts and sharp edges, the places most likely to corrode or seize. Then Lanoguard spray goes on the floor pan, sills, subframes, suspension mounts and wheel arches. Hollow sills and box sections are treated from the inside with an injector wand, through existing drain holes and bungs. We never drill holes.

Final inspection
Masking comes off, the underside is checked for missed areas, and you get photographs of the finished job with simple aftercare advice. Lanoguard repels water straight away. You collect it the same day. Lanoguard advises giving the coating 24 hours before normal use, so drive it straight home and, if you can, leave it parked until the next day.

Your treatment record
A clear record of your treatment.
We’re preparing to open near Richhill. When treatments begin, you’ll receive photographs of your vehicle before and after application, together with the agreed scope and aftercare advice. Future case studies will show our own work, shared with the owner’s permission.
